What to clarify when a new driveway replaces old concrete
A replacement proposal should describe both removal of the old surface and installation of the new one. Ask about disposal, base assessment, grade, street connections and how you will access the property during work.

Do not let demolition disappear into a total
Explain what currently occupies the footprint. Ask whether the proposal includes cutting, removal, loading, haul-away and lawful disposal. Identify nearby structures and finishes that need protection. Keep these responsibilities visible even when a provider presents one combined price.
Ask how the base will be evaluated
The condition beneath existing concrete may not be fully visible at the quote stage. Ask how unsuitable material or unexpected conditions would be documented, priced and authorized. A clear change process is more useful than an unsupported promise that nothing unexpected can happen.
Plan everyday access
Discuss parking, deliveries, pedestrian access and any gate or garage constraints. Ask for project-specific guidance on curing and return to use after placement. Timing depends on the actual materials, conditions and provider instructions; this site promises no installation or reopening date.
